Lawyal Solutions is founded by Khanyi Zungu, a multi-award winning admitted attorney, who has cemented herself as a strategic leader in the corporate-commercial law advisory space. Khanyi, the managing director & chief advisor of Lawyal Solutions, specialises in various aspects of corporate & commercial law with a specific focus on contracts, merger & acquisitions, regulatory and governance.
Khanyi has served as a practicing attorney in one of the largest law firms in South Africa & in corporate in various executive legal roles for diversified mining & energy companies. Khanyi has also served as Chief Legal Advisor at South Africa’s power utility, Eskom.
Khanyi’s accumulated experience in the corporate sector has seen her service companies across various industries including mining, energy, construction & engineering, marketing, retail & pharmaceutical. Khanyi has been dubbed as the ‘Corporate Pitbull’ by her peers – having led a number of merger & acquisition transactions, negotiating with international investors and structuring complex multi-billion-rand transactions.
